matevans is a classically trained electronic composer from London.

He writes multilayered instrumentals combining synthesisers & beats with more organic instruments such as guitar and brass.

His influences include 80's electronica, modern dance music as well as the film scores of Vangelis and Peter Gabriel.

matevans' self titled debut album blends evocative soundscapes with driving rhythms, unique electronic sounds and improvised melodies.

His second album will be released later this year and will have more of a club vibe with bass at the forefront and an intricate use of vocal samples.

He is currently working on a mixtape which has a Summer 2027 release date.
